Craig M. Carpenter, M.D.
Dr. Carpenter graduated from Wayne State University School of Medicine in 1980. He fulfilled a Radiology residency at the University of Utah School of Medicine followed by fellowship in Abdominal/Interventional Radiology at the University of British Columbia. Dr. Carpenter is board certified in Radiology and is the Director of the Cardiac CT Angiography Program at St. Mark’s Hospital.
Mark E. Fruin, M.D.
Dr. Fruin has over 23 years experience in Diagnostic Radiology. He graduated from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in 1984. He fulfilled a Radiology residency at Rush-Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago, followed by a fellowship in Neuroradiology at the University of Utah. Dr. Fruin is Chairman of the Department of Radiology at Jordan Valley Hospital as well as the Director of Magnetic Resonance Imaging at the Salt Lake Regional Medical Center.
Peter B. Hathaway, MD
Dr. Hathaway graduated from the University of Utah School of Medicine in 1993. He fulfilled a Radiology residency at the University of Washington in 1998 and then completed a fellowship in Interventional Radiology at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology in St. Louis. He is Board Certified in radiology and holds a Certificate of Added Qualification in Interventional Radiology. He has practiced interventional radiology in Salt Lake City since 1999.
Sean Muldowney, MD
Dr. Muldowney graduated from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in 1991. He fulfilled a Diagnostic Radiology residency at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology and then completed a Fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology in St. Louis. He worked as an Interventional/ Neurointerventional Radiologist for 10 years at Cabarrus Radiologists and the Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast. Dr. Muldowney joined the Utah Vascular Clinic in June of 2008. He is Board Certified in radiology and holds a Certificate of Added Qualification in Vascular and Interventional Radiology.
Ed Hunter, MS, PA-C
Mr. Hunter has 18 years of experience as a Registered Radiology Technologist with accreditation in radiology, computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging. He graduated from Arcadia University Physician's Assistant program with a Masters Degree in 2001. He then spent 18 months doing cardiothoracic surgery at the hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia before joining the Utah Vascular clinic.
Melissa Ludwig, MS, PA-C
Ms. Ludwig joined the Utah Vascular Clinic after graduating from King's College Physician Assistant Program with a Masters Degree in 2008. Prior to becoming a Physician Assistant she worked and taught in Emergency Medial Services for 8 years. She is excited to be a part of our group and working in radiology.
